recommend + that clause

   Recommend後若接that子句，該子句內的動詞要用原形或「should +原形」。其它與recommend相同用法的字彙都是表「建議」、「要求」、「命令」、「堅持」、「決定」，例如suggest, propose, ask, require, request, order, insist, decide等。

例句:

1. Cliffordrecommends thatthe teaching of grammar skillsbe includedin the foreign language curriculum.

Clifford建議在外語課程中加入文法技能教學。

2. Most linguistsrecommend thatilliterate adultsshouldachievebasic reading and writing skills in their own language before attempting to master them in English.

多數語言學家建議成人文盲應先學會母語的讀寫技能，再來嘗試學習英文的讀寫技能。
